Trusonic, a digital music and messaging company, provided a customized, branded technology platform, music library and distribution service for retailers, hospitality companies and digital out-of-home advertisers worldwide. Trusonic sold business music principally to large retail and hospitality customers including Petco, JC Penney, Cracker Barrel and Rubio's.
Music and advertising messages were delivered via a unique and proprietary store and forward digital system controlled over the internet with software developed by Trusonic.
Trusonic also managed a 2 million song library of independent artist music in addition to contracting with record labels and publishers to program proprietary playlists for subscribers.
During the ownership period revenues increased from 1 million dollars to over 4 million. Business units served went from 2 thousand to over 40 thousand. Investors received 6 times their original investment when Trusonic was sold. TEBOGROUP did the branding and positioning, designed all the marketing materials and set up the channels of distribution for Trusonic. In addition, the company wrote the original business plan used to secure outside financing and negotiated the sale of the company to the ultimate buyer.
